all three virginias together

Gray Ghost...hope you don't mind but I played with the pics of your beautiful Virginia Button. Didn't help a lot but some. About 30 yrs ago I was hunting, with a old metro-tech metal detector, down Old Church Road about two miles from cold harbor. I got this very large reading and recovered a 58 Cal Yankee bayonet, just under the surface. I was about to walk away and decided to swing the coil over the hole again. I got a faint beep on either side where the bayonet had been lying. From each side I recovered two beautiful Virginia State seal buttons. The only two that I have found. Thanks for sharing and bringing back old memories HH TomB
