Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14
You don't have to wait until your emotions are in check before you come to Jesus. He wants us to come as we are, broken and bruised with tear-stained faces. We bring together all that is true about us and all that is true about God.
We are invited to come right now as we are, ragged at the edges, splattered by the mud of life, invited into the very heart of heaven, and called to move close and approach the throne of grace. You don't hve to tidy yourself up, clean up your own mess, or wait till you feel holy. Just come now into His presence. Jesus sees your pain and longs to comfort you. As my friend, Barbara Johnson says, "Let God wrap you in His comfort blanket of love."

When we come boldly to the throne and confess all our sins, Jesus cleanses our sins away to be never remembered any more, but should we sin again (hopefully not willfully) He will forgive us again by confessing the sin to Him, but if we keep on sinning willingly, then He may allow us to go our own way with satan taking over our lives from which we came! So if we love Jesus, we will obey Him and not willfully sin against Him! But our flesh is weak and must be crucified daily with God's Holy Spirit increasing within us by reading His Word, praying and doing good works for our good and His purpose!
God Bless!
