..here is the way it is:I am a busy man-I work 2nd shift all week(I walk 3-to 6 miles a day at my job, sometimes another 2-3 in the mornings;mowing lawns and fitness walking);this arthritis (-OH;I ALMOST FORGOT THAT GOOD-OLD PLANTAR FASCIITIS:)is gonna hurt me,walking or not-The weekends are spent with my wife, and resting from all that activity during the week.I have the attitude this discomfort I live with(thats all it is)is NOT gonna go away for any reason;even if I whine about it or not.My Dr.told me if I stay active, its gonna hurt a little;if I sit down and admit defeat;doing ANYTHING is gonna get more and more difficult..THAT MEANS: I have NOT lost the desire for detecting-I really think it is the fact that detecting season is almost done in Michigan;and I miss the water already...BY the way:i went out this morning;and walked about 2 miles and I feel pretty good right now...So-pardon me for whining on everybody's shoulders, and leaving tear stains on their lapels;I have never ran away from a challenge-and this is a life long one...dogface Steve...PS:I just might go out for some swinging Sunday after church...Im playing "I'll Fly Away" for service..I can still play and sing-thank You,lord!!!

Child of God and he cannot do anything to you nor do any harm, as long as Jesus is abiding within you. Maybe you exercise too much...sounds like a lot to me with your job, mowing and walking...Couldn't you take it a little more easy and not get exhausted? When exhausted our minds don't work like they should nor do our bodies! Let God direct your footsteps and be following in Jesus' light for His healing virtue!

God Bless & Happy Hunting....hope you find something really good to lift your spirit and give you encouragement to keep on, keepin' on in the grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father!!

when you walk 3 - 6 miles a day, try doing it in the grass, while dragging your coil along then each time you get a good hit, you can do some deep knee bends too! :)
