Talked with Bob and Steve at whites, and their concensus was the V3is faulty. So called my dealer and going to swap out for a V3. I did miss the ground probe option the v3i didn't have, as I have used a friends vision and knew it pretty good. So its the V3 for me and Maybe an upgrade at a later date. Thanks to all at Whites for the help and the members of this forum . Ron
