This is the best year I have ever had for large coppers. Once again I am sure it has to do with hunting so many field sites. Not often does some one dig a large cent and a standing house in my area, just not that many houses that old in my area. But with field sites it allows me to get onto older sites and gives me a chance to get the older coins. Although my OLDEST copper this yr was dug in town, on a curb strip, in front of a 1920's house. It was a 1746 KG, this coin is 100 yrs older than my town, a very rare find for my area.
