All Metal Threshold Question.

I really like using All Metal on the T2 but one thing that bugs me a bit is the threshold. It is impossible to get a smooth Threshold unless the Hum is raised up to two. On my White's and Minelab detectors, the threshold holds a smooth tone if it's properly balanced. Is this just a characteristic of the T2? It seems to work fine.

hi neil, im just the opposite...i like the disc mode and the only time i am in the all metal mode is if i set the T-2 down and it switches itself........best of luck to you........
