For those of you who use all metal mode, where do you usually set your threshold after you ground balance? I found that around - 20 to around - 2 worked pretty good for me when relic hunting yesterday. I liked going lower, say around - 20, when I got tired of hearing more "chatter" in the - 2 to 0 range. I do see that the machine is deeper when going into AMM, but I do miss hearing the iron "grunts" that I have become accustomed to hearing when I disc mode. But I'm sure that is a price I have to pay for more depth.
