All metal mode can find stuff you missed

A lot of these relics were found very deep with the GTI 2500 in All Metal Mode. The round balls are usually hard to find with most detectors. This one box holds many different great finds including a .69 caliber Gardner found very deep. One compartment holds two 1916 Mercury Dimes - too bad they didn't have the little "D" on them. They were on top of each other about 8" deep.

:usaflag:There is always that brief second where the "D" mintmark is possibly there. The moment must have been priceless. Nice finds !

You are correct about the all metal mode..it punches deep and will find stuff the disc mode might niss. Good job! Great pics!
