I am very impressed with this detector out of the box !! I can't wait to try it out !!!

Just testing it out, I like the Pro/Zero mode .... I can tolerate the extra noise for the sake of possibly not missing something good being masked by iron. Does anyone run with the iron audio on all the time ? I noticed that when you turn it on in Pro/Zero there is one less tone (two instread of three) to listen to.

It's your choice -It seems kinda backwards, but in Pro Zero, if you have no iron discrimination set, and turn Iron audio on, you won't hear the iron signals. If you turn iron audio off, you should hear it. I run that way a lot, whether I choose to hear the iron depends on the site. If there may be relics and / or if it isn't too iron infested, I like it on (and it can help you hear bottlecaps that are impersonating quarters). If I'm coin & jewelry hunting, like a sports field, then I don't need to hear it. Most folks just turn it on to check a target before digging. I love my AT PRO!!!
