All headphones are NOT created equal!

Hey Folks,

Just a heads up on headphones from my limited experience. The ones that came with my Ace 250 were very light and didn't fit well. I had a heavy pair
of full coverage am/fm safety phones. I just plugged in a cord and left them turned off and have been enjoying much better hearing. I have a clothes line
on our property that had been producing silver rosies and wheaties. They had dried up and I figured I had worked the ground out in that area. Not so.
These headphones are again producing silver rosies and wheaties in ground that I had worked very well, numerous times. I now know what a whisper
signal is. I didn't hear them on the original headphones. Just food for thought. Warm regards, Jim

P.S. I just ordered a new set of Garretts from Kellyco to replace them.

I noticed i found more stuff when i
started using headphones...Im still
learning so it can only get better!!!!

Hey Ron,

I'm learning too buddy. It's a fun process I dare say. Great that we can gather here with a group of
like minded folk and share tips. I'm amazed how much better I can hear and how much more I do hear
with the other (pricier) headphones. Makes me wonder about all the detecting I did over the last six
weeks since getting the 250. LOL! Regards, Jim
