Hello,everyone.
Hoping your all safe and well. After scrounging around for Bits and Pieces for Two Months(Coil Cable,Orings, adapting my ExplorerXS Battery over, to replace the bad one,Making a new set of Headphones,Making up a new Handle for the scoop Etc) My Excalibur is in good condition, and leaning up in the Corner.Living in Colombia, you really feel like you have accomplished something getting stuff you need.Especially these weird things that the Hardware Stores know nothing about.

The Day after they closed all the Beaches here in Rododero, which is the Center for Tourism, and all Locals from the Big Citys in Colombia,I had a Beachfront Hotel pointed out to me by One of the Local Beach workers. He said it had been used as a popular hang out, for the Mafioso here in Colombia for 40 Years.I'm ready willing, and able to get in the Water! El Presidente has said maybe he would lift the Lock-down around the 11th of May.Things are real tough here for the poor Merchants. My Heart goes out to them.Better Days are just around the Corner.

Hope to see some pictures of gold bling when you do get into the water in front of that hotel.
I know what you mean about the merchants. How is the looting / vandalism situation there? Hope it isn't too bad and that the merchants can open up again before they can't afford to reopen.

Hi.Yea,that Hotel...We have a few locals here that Snorkel back and Forth with a Makeshift Paddle and just look for fresh drops, they work the shallows by just going along fanning trenches, and hoping to get lucky.Fortunatly they can't Fan in anything above Waist deep, just bent over and peering into the Brine. And anything over Waist deep would only be spotted while Snorkeling,as a fresh drop.Once in awhile you see them quickly leaving the beach with a Grin.I thought maybe they would resent me ,with all the nice Gear, but they all seem to be OK with it.Their very nice People, for the most part...Lacking the ATTITUDE that's carried around in the States by A LOT of People..

It's so scary and quite now,not a Soul, the streets are normally pretty crazy. And not much trouble to speak of.A few Weeks back, there was a Group of about 20-30 Motorcycle Taxi Guys who teamed up with a Venezuelan Partner on the Back of each Bike and they raided a couple of small Markets in the City Part. The Venezuelans have been the most troublesome.".Desperate People do Desperate things".But alot of em' are returning to Venezuela, right now, there is absolutely NOTHING for them here. There is NO help from the Government for MOST POOR People. stoneshirt.
