Digger and I got out today and detected pretty much all day. Was beautiful weather for a change. We tried to find a new spot for the second time but can't seem to locate it. It was a picnic park and swimming hole in late twenties. Unfortunately, it appears the farm land has been bulldozed sometime in the past 50 years and things just haven't materialized. So we went to another picnic grounds that we have search several times in the past 20 years along with many other hunters. The old grounds is now a cornfield and has been for 65 or 70 years. Not much left but did manage to pull 4 coins and of the four 3 silvers. Got an 1886 Seated dime, 1908 Barber dime, 1920 Merc and a 1926 Lincoln. Not many coins for tromping around a plowed field for about 6 hours. But at least found some silver for a change.

Those were some beautiful dimes! Great condition for the site we were hunting. I'm certainly glad one of us found coins. That's right, ONE of us. And it wasn't me! I got zilch, nada, zero, blanked! :veryangry:

But guess whose turn it is next? :bouncy: Congrats on some nice silver!
