All CZ's are not created equal....

Just picked up a used CZ6( circa 1992) and depth is awesome. Heck waved a quarter in front of the 8 inch coil and it picked it up at approx. 15 inches with Sens. at 6.. I know we don't detect in the air so tried it in my planted test garden and easily beat other CZ's by several inches..
Original CZ was built like a tank and it seems over the years units have become more plasticky( if thats a word), have less depth but do handle iron better...do remember tuning means a lot and even some of the newer models get more depth than like models because of this tuning as some are just hotter units than others..I would think mineralization and proper ground balance, personal settings all have to be dealth into the equasion so when a fellow reports a silver dime at a foot or so do be a believer as CZ's do go deep...

was the best Fisher ever made, I think it was even better than the CZ-70. I wished I still had it....It was super deep....
