Alas and Farewell

The time has come to hang up the old detector. My mind can still hunt all day but my body says differently. So, I've decided to sell my CZ-20 and move on. A simple hour and a half hunt on Saturday morning puts me out of commission for the rest of the day and Sunday too. The pain is just not worth it. I'll be checking back from time to time to see what you're finding. Happy Hunting!

See your doctor ... their are some wonderful pain meds available now that will help you with that.
And ... there is always beach hunting if you cant get into the water.

If you are still intent on selling the CZ-20 may I ask if you bought it new, its condition, what you would need to get for it, and what coil it has on it?

I know the feeling having diabetic legs after 30 years being a diabetic...Always said 1 hr in water is like 3 on land so might try to change to perhaps beach or local parks hunting.
Nothing against a 1280 but its heavy and lots of good lightweight units out there...

Myself still hanging on with short local park hunts that gives me my fix several times a week...

Good luck in your ventures and sitting in a bass boat might be a good move....

Ron,you have to be one heck of a guy to metal detect with a CZ-20 at any age.My suggestion after a rest recover go with a Teknetics Omega , F-70 or a CZ-5 hip mounted.Good Luck Crabbiest Ron of all sometimes.
