Thanks for the videos here and on YT. Good job. I'm jealous of that old house location. I've been interested in Sorex. How do you compare it to other detectors you own(ed)? Good only for relic conditions or can it be used as a general detector for parks? How about depth and ID ability to sort out some trash?

It's a top of the line unit for sure. It can be used anywhere. The stock coil is 7khz. Perfect for US conditions. Terminology Russians use is different. The hodograph is to die for.

How about depth? Maybe about the same as your Deus or does it have maybe 5 inches more depth? Thanks again.

Nice video....wish we had weather like that in mid winter...then again I don't want your Summer heat.

I am waiting to get the Berkut 5.15 in Spring. Comes with either English or Russian...also has Turbo like the Signum MFT but has more menu options and more tones than the Sorex or Signum.
On the flip side no MM mode though. So realy good for field hunting etc etc but in heavy trash the Sorex is a bit better. But it has modes I like...I have the Condor which is the same jst older and all Russian. Too tough to use sometimes because it has so many menu options in Russian I can't use it all....but I love the tone options...the ability to Edit each VDI...and it has a great analog mode.
I know Igor is now over on an American forum Friendly I think. They are trying to get noticed here in the states. If you have time maybe you could pop in there and post some videos there too...he could probably use your help. I think he needs some people here in the sates ( besides myself) that own a Sorex Or Signum post some results and reviews.!!
He has been asking me for input on getting some input on making a translated English version of their website so people can understand what the heck they are looking at...rather than trying to Bing translate the RUssian website.
Anyway...nice video.

The Sorex has excellent depth. I have dug targets down to 10 or 12 inches that were small.
