I've done a little air test with a three cent piece. Which the bliss.easily hit at 13 inches. And a Spanish milled dollar at almost 24 inches. I know testing Air is not like testing in the ground.. But I thought it would just be interesting to see.
 
[size=large]I had a customer looking for a detector that would find a glass jar with zinc lid at at least 24 inches deep. I GB'ed the Blisstool, with gain at 1, I was able to hit a Ball zinc lid at 4 feet with easily heard audio. I am very impressed, no wonder I quit digging 2 targets close to 24 inches... This is with the smaller coil, too..Richard[/size]
 
I hit a 3" Iron thing 18" deep I wondered how somthing could get so deep in a farm feild,
 
The deepest signal. I have dug was 17 1/2 inches. It was by our shop which had a new driveway built back in the 60s which they moved a lot of dirt. And it look like it was a top off of a cottage cheese container. Was rather thick aluminum foil. With the name imprinted on top. it was folded up.The ground where I live has a lot of Clay in it. Not red clay, Chalky white clay that you make lamps and ceramics out of it.
