If you want to find gold if it is not iron you are going to have to dig it. Gold can come in and does about any where.

This is why I prefer the older detectors with 24 notch discrimination.

What kind of depth do you figure it gets on the smaller gold?

Would it be possible to get you to test these same items with the GTI 2500 or a Garrett GTAx 550

I have a field test on the 550 at losttreasure.com and a field test on the 2500 that I can post here. Too time consuming to test all that stuff on two more machines and sort through 200 rings.
