Ok air testing on gold.Very awesome-wow-this is a gold nugget machine dont let anyone else tell you that it is a coin machine. It did a very good Job.

On rings, no brainer this thing could find my medium size 10k white/gold band at 4" with a 30 gain and 40 disc!

Tested lots of gold rings and a small band on 18Kpendant 44vdi -broken 10k chain 44vdi

rings 10k 51,63,66,63,50,50,48,54,64,55,58

.925gold 66 and 72 (big ring)

14K 56,54.

This was all at around 2" or so where the coil bolt is about.Setting was 90 Gain and 40 disc.
I am trying to figure out what differant gold jewerly hits.Next is earing studs-those big diamond hip-hop earings to be exact.Im sure there's some of those laying around.

I did a quick nugget test for my refernce also.Good to know in area's of high trash that it will respond in disc settings, to small gold and it Does it well!
You might not be able to run gain at 90 all the time, but the disc setting of 40 would help with falsing.I did this beacause I can run around 90 gain at the place's I nugget hunt.Mind you I have to put up with alot of ground noise then -lots of hot rocks in this area.In all-metal mode it hits even smaller stuff-how small Im not sure yet.I will do some testing away from any EMI to figure that out.I hope you can figure out my messy writting.

You mean that this is "FIRST & FOREMOST" a gold machine?????---I'm just kiddin wid ya (because of a previous post). ;)------I agree completely with you!---It is a great gold machine and great on medium to lower conductive targets.----It also is an excellent relic machine.-----It is ALSO a very good coin hunter, getting adequate depth (in most situations & sites) for coins.------ALSO, I'll say it for the ump-teenth time--where the G2/GBSE really "shines" is in it's absolutely amazing trash handling abilities.----Being able to work thru trash (handle target masking) like nothing I've ever seen before--especially with the 5" DD coil.------You are right, gold hunter SUPREME--that's the G2/GBSE!---AND relic/coin hunter also!:thumbup:-------Good post rockpup, thanks for your report.-------------------Del

I agree-I find alot more medium lower conductive stuff. So far my coin count is not up there-but mind you thats not want I want it for.I will be getting a cz for silver coins.
Until then this guy is doing everything and it does. The 11" coil will be a most wanted coil for parks at least the less trashy ones.

Im trying out a new metheod of hunting today and will post results. Also some differant settings.

Great post man!!! Thanks for the information
