Hi All:
Here in Missouri it's either too hot to hunt or too wet to plow. So it's time to research and write. Over the past few weeks I have been able to look into a perplexing question: Why were there no Company "J" in either Federal or Confederate armies and also why the Company arrangement in the regimental battle line was non-alphabetic.
