Got up this morning to go to work, tuned on the TV and saw the magic words every kid wants to see. Peterson AFB closed to non-essental personnel. WOOO HOOOO NO WORK TODAY!!!

The snow will be gone by the weekend. We have a high of 50 tomorrow and 60's for the weekend. Usually when you hear about snow in Colorado you think of the ski areas. Here in Colorado Springs we get pounded maybe once every 3 to 5 years and the rest of the time is is an occasional snow. And it just does not stick around for long periods of time.
