Always one thing after another to keep me from the great outdoors...
First my wife required shoulder surgery. That meant I had to hang around home to help her out for several weeks....
Then I had to go truck shopping. That was a two or three week ordeal.....
Then the holidays....
Then to top it off my dear old dad passed away on the 2nd of Jan. Spent 10 days at his home before and
after his death.
So while running some errands the other day I mentioned to my wife that I'm craving some detecting and thought
maybe I'd hit a park or two my next day off. But she already made plans us!
At this rate I better play it safe and remove the batteries from my detector. God only knows when I'll have time to go out again.
Man this has been one sucky holiday season!

Wish I could say something to make you feel better...very sorry to hear about you losing your dad. I hope things improve for you in the near future. You could always tell your wife that if you dont get out with your detector and relax, then you'll need brain surgery, and then she'll have to look after you.

Yeah, that ranges from Frustrating to Plumb Awful and I can only offer condolence. Sometimes stuff comes in waves and all you can do is ride it out. Just hang on to the saddle horn and go with the flow as you must, my friend. The silver will wait.

Hang in there Dan..As dim as it seems things will get brighter..

Dan-----Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.--Hope your wife is recovering well from surgery.--Hang in there, as has already been said, there are brighter days ahead.--------Del

all i can say is you had it easy....very very easy my friend....
