It has been a while since i last posted. Sorry for that.....it's not that I lost interest....just that I wasn't finding anything of interest lol.

That is until, as I suspected, the tourists brought goodies to the beach for me to find

Aside form roughly $40 in clad over 3 days hunts, I found THIS!!!!

MEXICAN SILVER BABY!!!! WOOHOO!!!! The pic is magnified, the coin is the size of a US silver dollar.

Also found a 1918 dime, but having problems getting a decent pic of it, I will add it in here once I'm able to get it. Found a bunch of crap jewelry, still awaiting my first gold find.......but the silver is a nice start.

That is a cool looking coin...I would flip if I found one of them up here in Central NY.

I flipped myself gogo, I'm at the Jersey Shore...found it on the beach in Seaside Heights. While there is a rather large Mexicna population here, I didn't expect anyone woudl be toting around an old silver coin along with them. Guess it goes to show the whole "good luck coin" thing is international. Sadly for the guy who lost it, turns out it wasn't very lucky for him
