Afternoon hunt using 50CO/ferrous coin turns up silver.

Went back over a bit of the park where I've been pulling the lovely silvers; in 50CO, Ferrous-Coin, with tadpole discrim in lower right corner. Got some modern coins and this worn beauty,

I'm thinking it will pay to go over ground I've done in Combine/Ferrous-Coin/Open Screen in several different modes to make sure I've found everything I can find.

Way to go man! I'm still learning 50 CO. Any tips about the particular sounds the coins will make as far a stability of audio would be helpful. Thanks

I'm trying to learn 50CO and long tones. What I'm finding is; if it repeats from 2 or more directions in the same spot and the tone sounds solid, it's usually a good target. Scratchy jumpy tones are turning out to be rusty bottle caps, nails, etc.

Awesome. Thanks. I honestly haven't even tried long tone yet.

i tried 50 tones a few times but i can't figure out what the heck is going on unless i am looking at the screen all the time... so far combined has worked well for me but i think that you might be on to something by going over areas in the 50 tones... i guess i will have to keep working with it to try to learn what it's telling me...

Listen for solid tones, the scratchy ones are usually trash/modern coins. it takes practice, I personally did not expect to find a good target the first time using it. Long tones seem to help. But I'm using the screen too alot, especially in ferrous-coin filter, you can see the iron on the screen as well.
