After three days of gentle rain, I...........

Took the 8000 out for a walk yesterday afternoon. It had been nasty, rainy and I was in desperate need for a clad fix. At least the rain was a gentle one that allowed the dry ground to soak it in and actually do some good. I let the sun dry the grass all day and spent just over an hour at a local park that has been pounded by me and others many, many times. This park gets a lot of kid traffic and in spite of being pounded, will always produce some clad. Here is my meager finds..........

You did far better than I did yesterday. Drove over 40 miles to a county park that is the only public access to the beach on a resort island.

After covering more than two miles of the beach and finding 35 cents in clad I decided that I was tired of beating that dead horse. Beach was badly sanded in.

By the time I got back to my starting point i was very ready to go home.
