After the Fair Field Hunt

Well, our local village Field Days ended Saturday night, but rain kept me out of the field until today...I got a late start and did not get out to the field until 2pm...Well what do you know...I have never seen a soul in this field besides me...I walk in and here is this little old lady with a Kelly Co apron and a garden trowel and a White's Prizm III swinging away in "MY" field...WELL!!!!...I let her do her thing...heck I have hunted that field for 5 years after the field days and raked plenty a coin...Let the old bat have her day..lol...Well she ended up leaving shortly after I got there, but not before telling me that she had been out yesterday between the rain drops, and had been out most of the day today...She said she found a Franklin Half in my field..."OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!!"...lol...No way I missed that...HAD to be a recent drop...Well after she left I figured I had the experience and the better machine...Well, low and behold I could not find any surface coins to save my life...I did manage a little short of $5.00, a cool skull and crossbones pendant, and a token. Granny got the last laugh...She cherry picked all the surface quarters...:surprised: :rage:

There's a small window of opportunity on some sites. I can't tell you how many times I've hunted in my trusty Gortex suit and rubber boots with so much rain at times I used a water machine. A sandwich bag over the control pod and a trash bag over the electronics box and you can a QXT all day long.

Sorry to hear that the competition got the most of it:poke::lol:
