AFTER SUPPER

I must live in the stingiest part of the USA. The people around here pick up most money they drop. If I can get $0.75 per hour, I am doing well. How is it that some can find so much in such a short period of time? Does it rain money where you live or something?

Im guessing this OP is in Australia or Canada. Those guys come on, make such announcements, and then forget to tell us penny-grubbing Yanks where they live :)

I mean think about it. If the poster were in the US and only found quarters, it would require he find 72 quarters for $18. At an average of one quarter every 3 minutes, that would be 3.5 hours or so. What time does he eat dinner, anyway?! Also, when is the last time you found only quarters, at each find, especially at a worn out spot? That has to be some sort of statistical improbability, if not impossible...

However, Canada has $2 coins and Australia something similar. It may be possible to account for $18 that way.

Well, if I dropped a dollar I woudl bend over and retrieve it. It woudl be a VERY rare occasion for me me to not know that I had dropped a dollar.
