After reading dc phase in whites manual i see i do it different.

I question this so i will try it there way,my way seems to be very accurate i have seen on here were people call it to question. iam wondering if they left something out .the part where they move it off target trigger let go the trigger then trigger it over target.I move it to the side and trigger it on the ground wait till numbers appear in upper right corner hold trigger and wait till the numbers stop going down here that is usually hi 80,s to 90, let go of trigger and re trigger over target now meter Will start to climb till it almost stop giving you a accurate reading and being flat on ground over target listening to voc for highest pitch to make sure I,am center over target now you can slide it back and forth and also in out while walking around target listening to voc it will give you reading from different angles,very quick and pretty accurate.learned how to do it from checking targets for a week or two.Very good on deep targets were you can not always dig everything.If and when i do it my way after iam over target and meter starts to travel down more it is usually a wrap around target.This will only happen 2 or 3 times say out of 50 swings not often but it will be a deep target .does everyone do it the way the manual says?

I'm doing it the way you are ohiofred,slide off the target,pull the trigger slide over target and wait for the numbers to stop.It's not always dead on,but most of the time it is....A thousand holes weighs in favor of this method for me
