I got a X 30, NO COMPLAINTS, i figger any detector. For me, I tested it, it hits on qtrs and dimes, in air at 9 and 10 in, is ok, shortly after getting it i went out and got 32 coin at local play area, so I believe it's a keeper, read the FAQFAQ'S, good stuff, i shortened my rod , took bout 20 min with saw and drill, that's only complaint, it's nice outfit, and i never need GB anyway (mild soil everywhere i detect), and usually diggitall, good for me:detecting::detecting::thumbup::minelab::usmc::usaflag:

Glad to hear you found the FAQFAQ to be a useful resource. I think you will find that the X-Terra is a great compliment to your Musky. Keep us posted on your finds. HH Randy
