After all the rain we've got another stinking storm rolling in ...

Uncle Willy

New member
with 90-100 MPH winds at the coast and 65 MPH here in town. My dog is scared of storms and she will go absolutely nuts. I think I'll go with her. My wife is in the hospital so she'll miss all the fun. I'm so sick of this miserable weather. If circumstances permitted I'd load up and move right now. Back when I was younger and my wife in better shape I have done just that. I ain't never going to get to go detecting. BOO HOO.

The good part about the rain is when it stops you can go out and dig. If all the rain were snow you would never get out. We have the rain here but no wind. I'm holed up when it rains but can get out between rain showers.

I've been away for awhile and I must say I was surprised when I read your still getting rain. Wow ! The ground there must be saturated.

Hope your wife is doing well...take care bud and hang in there.

This might a good time time to start writing a book.

Thankfully the winds weren't as fierce as they predicted, at least not here but it was howling for awhile. Think it's supposed to finally change. We've had nearly 40 days of continual rain. Time to build the ark. HA.
