After a two week break my first Hunt.

[attachment 38628 100_1045.JPG]I went back over the club field where we had our hunt. In about 4 hours i found 10 silver mercs,10 roosevelt silver, 1 quarter, 2 barber dimes, silver ring, pocket knife, belt buckle, a car. But it was kinda cheap because all that stuff was left over by previous hunts. In fact the 10 rooselvelts were from the hunt we just had, its scary how much almost 20 detectorists missed. It was all on the surface. The mercs were from last years hunt most likely. My first real time out was today in the snow(the weathers been crap here in the midwest). Within 5 minutes i found a great condition 1927 mercury dime only two inches down, good thing because all i had was a screwdriver to dig with. I left immidieatly after i found it because of the weather and time constraints. I was happy with myself, and actually felt lucky for once. Ill be hitting this new spot hard when my dad comes up next week to hunt.
