After a long hot summer..

Cool weather, wet ground and a trip to the country...Unfortunately foliage was not down but my CZ7A...went deep and got two silver coins...1953 Roosie at 10 inches and 1919 standing liberty quarter at 8 inches, thats what the depth meter read and was right on. Tough hunting and swear if my first coin was a wheatie would have quit as the hunting condition were terrible with foliage still up..Nicest SLQ I ever dug even though it was black. Gotta go back after a couple of good frosts..Actually like a swamp so coins drop deep..
Still say coil for coil a CZ is the deepest around as I feel most units would not have touched at least the dime..

Especially the SLQ, those are always exciting to find. I agree with you, the CZ's depth is hard to beat....HH

WTG, Dan!! OUTSTANDING JOB pulling up a 1919 SLQ!! I know you're really going to work that place! HH,
