Tabdog,
I took 18 years off from metal detecting and just started back in February of this year. After seeing this, the bar has been set!! I am going to have to work my tail off to catch up. I have 6 months to do it, if I can only convince my wife to let me quit the day job, I know I could catch up! Awesome finds!!! Love your posts.
Best regards,

Monte helped me to get started finding jewelry.

If I can be of help, let me know.

If you want, and haven't already read them, I can
give you a link to a couple of long and insperational
post by Monte on the subject of finding gold jewelry.

That goes for any one els too.

HH,

Tabdog nice finds.I think life comes up sometimes and put hobbies on hold.I was a single parent raising two boys when they were 11 and 13 my wife had to go find herself.Anyway at 32 and 34 years of age they are doing fine with families of their own.Lots of work to be a single parent but Worth it.

man you could set up your own jewelry store with all that...WTG...i have been at it for 2months and found3 silver pieces and a gold piece. got a ways to go to catch up with you....

Hi Dobbie,

It took me three months to find my first gold.

You're way ahead of where I was.

You said:

Seven months ago when I had been at it for two months, I only had one silver ring and no gold.

That's when I bought my first Tesoro. It was a Cibola.

It would be one month later when I found more jewelry and my first gold piece. A gold Arkansas
Razorback Hog.

Here it is:

So, you see, I've actually been finding all that gold in the last six months or so.

Now, you're gonna have to do some work for the next seven months, if you want to be where I am
right now.

But I am living proof that it can be done.

I have just recently sent 90 grams of gold to the refinery to sell as scrap. Can't remember, but that's
close to $1,000.

I still have some nice jewelry I did not sell. I'm not counting my clad, and I have a couple other things
I may sell.

Six months ago, this was all just a pipe dream. I never actually thought I could do something like this.

No joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HH,
