Advice wanted for underwater unit...

I am looking into purchasing a good underwater detector and am seeking advice. I intend to probably use it in both salt and fresh water , as well as on the water line, so I'd like a good all purpose waterproof machine. Detectorpro seemed to have some good options but I know little about what else is out there, whats my best option?

I use a Tesoro Tigershark it is good to 200ft deep and has a lifetime warranty. It is very good on small gold and silver rings as well as necklaces. I will give you an example I was out today and it picked up the metal band in a twist tie at 4 inches. It has great depth and you can find them on E-bay for around $400.00 new around $650.00 hope this helps you out.
