Hi All,
Been thinking about a new detector to go along with my Explorer II and Excalibur. Had my eye on the Eureka Gold. Probably won't do much gold prospecting right now (more eventually) but wondered how it might work on the beaches for small gold earrings and chains in the meantime. Anybody have any thoughts on this? I like the 3 freq. setup and chest mount for all day hunts. Thanks and HH Mike

with the X-Terra 70 and shes a great unit for gold. I hunt beaches and parks as well with good success. Read this section on the 70 its very interesting and insightful. Any question you need answering just ask.

Cheers!

The elliptical is better for tight spots and moving in and around small shrubs and stones, the round coil is better for large flat plains and beaches. Both are HOT on small gold.
cheers!
