place the remote near that and use the heat from that to dry it out. Not too close but close enough. Try it out tomorrow and if it dont work, then you are probably looking at a replacement remote....they ain't cheap either.

The remote can be "popped" open in order to change the battery. You can get it open, (it should open/close like a clamshell) then take a hair dryer to the insides of the unit to make sure that it is completely dry. Low, warm air should be fine.......don't let it get over heated or you might melt delicate parts.........make sure the battery has been removed first. Re-assemble and see if it works. If it still doesn't work, check the battery to make sure it is still ok and hasn't been shorted out. Maybe a battery change will fix what ails it. Lastly, if it a "goner", I got my last fob at my local locksmith. Some locksmith's now sell chipped keys and car fobs and can help you with the set up of a new fob to your car. You can also find information on setting up your fob on the internet. Good luck.

I have found them on e-bay for under 20.00 each WITH instructions on how to program them. And I have never had a problem with them. Good luck!!
