advice on tomorrows hunt

I'm working a beach where a very expensive ring was lost two years ago.The area it was lost in is about 200 sq meters or say 2000 sq ft. The area is pretty high and dry so odds are it hasn't gone far,(I'm thinking in their search to find it,the owners pushed it deeper).

The owners searched for it with rakes and shovels for a week when they lost it and zilch,so the intel I have on it is that it is still there.
I have been to the beach once, last week, and at that visit,I put the 705 on IM so I could get a little more depth, and when I hit a target, would go to coin and treasure mode, check the number, and dig it in an effort to clean the area to make it easier in trying to find this jewel.
I think what is left in the area pretty much are deep targets so tomorrow ,my plan is to try and locate them and dig them.

Any advice from the veterans would be appreciated greatly.

No discrimination, dig all signals specially the weak ones.
Hope someone hasn't detected yet .

hmmm good luck

just dig dig dig...and hope your coil hits it..

Hate to be a party pooper but maybe its already been found by another hunter, 2 years is a long time.
Won't hurt trying though, its a day out and anything might turn up, good luck

I would dig all targets other than iron, as rings can be real low into the foil range

Hi Nickey; The guys are definitely right. Only thing is I have found gold rings "very" deep that sound like iron or even metal screws and nails.Picture this. Draw a vertical line about 4 - 6 inches on a piece of paper. Then draw a line that would represent what the slope would look like "from the side". Then assign a figure for the hieght and length of the slope. This will give you an idea of where that ring may be depth wise aas well as where it may really be on the slope. What you do is use geometry. EXAMPLE: If the Hieght of the slope from the base is lets say 10 feet and the legth is lets say 25 feet then you can figure it out. You'll be amazed as to how much this simple picture will open your eyes and very possibly make you the real finder of the bling. The old saying is that a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case it may be worth thousands of dollars; ha ha. :hot: Good Luck. May the Surf be with you.!! :starwars: PEACE:RONB
