Advice On Settings?

Old Virginia

New member
Hey folks - just got an AT Pro yesterday and hope to give it a test drive tomorrow. I would greatly appreciate some advice on settings:

1. - What's best for general CW relic hunting? Some iron present, but not a whole lot.
2. - What about old homesteads - coins, and misc. items where a lot of iron is present?
3. - I'll also be CW relic hunting in a river some time soon. What's best for that environment?

Thanks!

Thanks 1 ring and Bart - pretty much same setting in all conditions - all things being equal?

I've watched the videos twice now - they are very helpful. Looks like Pro is the way to go for me. I'll try it out tomorrow - wish me happy huntin'! :detecting:

Also try Pro Custom, iron 31, iron audio on. Run max sensitivity if you can. This setting to me seems to pull more targets next to iron. When you get tired of hearing the iron go to Pro zero, iron off.

Relic hunting I run pro mode zero disc iron set at 30. Iron audio on unless there is a lot of iron present. Sensitivity as high as possible and still stable. Usually wide open or down one from wide open.
