I'm looking for something I can use on the lakes and rivers here in the northwest and on land on the rainy days I don't want to take a chance of getting my regular machine wet. There is so much black sand in my area that my IDX Pro and XLT are just about unusable. I'm thinking about a Tiger Shark but i don't know if can deal with the sand being vlf.I hear P.I.s can handle the sand but are a pain in the trashy areas. What ever I get will have to be used and in the $400 range [no Excalibur until I find a few pieces of gold]. Thanks in advance.
