Advice on a Kentucky Detecting Trip

The Wooz

New member
Hello,
I'm from Illinois and I'm going detecting in Trigg county in Kentucky to check out 12 acres of property my brother in law was willed. I was curious to see who has detected there and what might be the difference in the ground conditions or sounds for the CTX 3030. I have not done a lot of detecting with the machine yet so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

The soil from one place to another for sure will affect how the CTX will work but will not change how it sounds on a given target. When you set up your detecting program you decided what a 12/40, 12/12, 12/34 tone was to be. A solid target hit will sound the same. How hot you can run your unit will be the thing to mess with when you get there. Good luck
