Adventures of Hardware Man ....

It's not unusual for customers to bring their dog with them when visiting our store. Several of the pooches have learned to go straight to the register station and sit holding out their paw until they get their dog treat.

Last week a lady brought in her dog, a breed I had not seen before, and asked her what kind of dog is that. She told me it was a Chihuahua Greyhound mix. The dog had short solid grey, but very soft fur. The body really did look like a greyhound while the head and neck did look like the Taco bell puppy. Here is a mixed color fur version of what I saw.

I looked the lady straight in the eye and said to her, "Bet you own the fastest Mexican in the neighborhood, huh?" She and I both got a good laugh out of that.
