Adjusting depth reading from centimeters to inches. Does the Racer retain settings?

Just curious that when you adjust the Racer to read depth from centimeters to inches, does the Racer retain the inches setting once turned off. Or does it have to be reset everytime the Racer is turned back on.

It retains the depth measurement setting of inches or centimeters even after you turn it off. Other settings no. But depth measurement setting, yes.

There are at least two other settings that are retained after you turn off your Makro Racer:
Backlight and vibration.

Go to the Makro website and download the manual for the Racer. On page 20 (I believe), it will explain how to set the detector to read from centimeters to inches. Hope this helps.
