I will go in almost any weather when my wife gives me the green light. With work, family and other responsibilities I take every chance I can get. Today was one of my most enjoyable hunts. I found plenty of clad, a small necklace for my daughter and my best find of the day was when I was freezing. I dug this 1960's tootsie toy wedge dragster out of a school yard this morning. The tootsie toy fire truck was in my first year of detecting and was found with a different detector than a Tesoro. The Dragster was found using my Compadre with the 5 3/4" coil. Just can't get enough of this one knob wonder. The Tootsie toy fighter jet was found by my dad using his Cibola in a hunt we went on together and he gave it to me. This hobby is even more fun when family is a part of it. Hope you enjoy the pictures and I hope to find many more of these older cars in my future years of detecting. Finding this car made the hunt exciting for me today. Good luck and HH

The compadre is an awesome detector I can't wait till they come out with the model that has the 8 inch coil. Great finds! Man, don't you just love this hobby!

Green light from your wife for you to detect in freezing cold 20 degree temperature.

You'll probably faint when you pop a nice 18k gold wedding band with the Compadre. It's just a matter time.

Way to go!
