allows me to stay a little longer past dusk and detect all the way back to the car.

The Stanley light is part of the Stanley 3 in 1 Tripod light. Consists of 3 of these lights (3-AA batteries and LED for long life and more light output - and I can angle the light forward to provided more 'ahead' lighting as I walk.) Note too this is how bright it is in daytime in my dining room - imagine outside in the dark :)

Nice set up. I am retired so I do all my detecting in the day time, But can remember when I was working and going out for a little evening coin hunting :)

Pete...very nice set up. Would you be so kind as to show a side view of your mounting set up? It would be a great help those of us (like me) who are mechanically challenged.

Thanks a heap.

This is a side view (here I have the metal AA flashlight on it - which didn't give off enough light and not adjustable to point further ahead.)
