Years ago, and I do mean years, you could buy a plug in speaker to replace head phones. This was when most detectors only had phones....Is there anything available like that today, or something that can be made up easily??? Then, I would like to add a set of U/W phones to a detector, and instead of having them not being able to be removed, find a water proof male and female plug set , so they can be removed and switched to another detector.. This is a home made unit, and the phones are locked in place, unless I want to pull the plug off, and pull the wire out..... Many thanks for your help...

Doc's detecting sells the plug in speakers.....
As far as the Amp, I have several things in the works..Amp in a custom endcap for the excalibur and amp in the headphones...these are not yet 100% waterproof but dipable hope to have time next winter to finish. I use the bulgins mini 400's to change phones between headphones between the detectors....they work great on the HP's but not the coil...long vid shows the install into the cups...
