Well I am not gonna say that it is going to get an Academy Award but "Expendables" with Stallone is sure the hell an action movie! I just watched it and it was not dull, unless you don't like this type of movie. It is hard to believe that sucker is 62 years old
One movie that we just saw is 3 idiots. Now, with a title like that, you would not be expecting very much. But we both thought it was one of the best we have seen.
It is a Bollywood production, with all the music/dance scenes in it that are customary. But the story is magnificent , the acting superb, and the character development marvelous. Every one we have shown it to thinks it is a great movie as well.
Civil War movies. Only thing that I can find on the Internet is video clips, not the actual movies. It is requested that you not make any special effort, only if you accidently come across any of these movies. Kelley (Texas)
you can get all you want, including the Ken Burns series. In fact, if you have a hundred dollar Roku box you can watch many of them instantly with any Netfix account. You need a high speed connection and a router
and a good quality monitor. Some older computers (even 3-4 years) do not provide a good picture with online or streaming video. HQ or HD is lost on them. Mine is decent but only barely decent. Next puter i will be more picky about the screen and card it comes with.
This Roku box connects to your TV with the Red-White-Yellow connectors and you go to your computer, click on Netflix, select your movies and turn off the computer if you wish.
This is only with the instant movies, I just watched one after posting to Fred about Gettysburg. It comes in to your wireless router, goes to the Roku Box, which is paired to the router and you watch the movies. After watching it you can just delete it.
You can not stream the newest ones but there are around 20,000 or so that you can stream. It costs no more and you still get the DVD's delivered to your door if you want. Google TV and Apple TV are coming up with boxes that you can do the same with and also watch Hulu and Youtube from your TV.
fighting cabin fever. I do some of the hulu stuff. Looks pretty decent on this wide screen... More to pick from online than on the stupid Dishnetwork dish. They run stuff on there until your ready put bullet holes in it...
