ACE350 comes through again!!

Decided to detect a little bit before lunch. It looked like it was going to rain any minute, so headed to the old school up the street. First coin turned out to be the 1944 Quarter. What a way to start out!! Then I found a metal folding case of some kind. Am going to soak the hinges with WD40 before trying to open it. Will post pictures later if I am successful. Then I found a 1947 Wheat penny. Things were really getting good, when the rain showed up and put an end to my fun for now. But, "I'll be back!!". Here are my finds from the short hunt.

You are killing it with the ace350, triple thumbs up! I want to know whats inside the case !!

Well, the WD40 worked enough to get the case open this morning. Time in the ground was not kind to it. Turns out to be a personalized mirror case. Too bad there wasn't something worth saving inside . Oh well, maybe next time. Here are the pictures.

Thanks for the sneek peek at the case,it's still pretty good find thanks for sharing! Hank
