ACE Revisited - THE PICS

I got a chance to take some pics, mostly cause Bill said I should. Believe me when I say there isnt much here. Thats a little earring down in front, a clip-on junk type.
You newbies take note of the "dinkies," down in front - the really small stuff the ACE has no trouble finding. The coins in the middle are dimes, by comparison.

Quite a pile. Yeah the 250 is hot on the dinky stuff. I find stuff so tiny I don't know how it picks it up. If they would put a manual GB on this little puppy it would make one helluva nuggetshooter.

There IS a lot of foil, which makes the pile look big. In sand and other easy digging spots I go for everything. I learned my lesson when I found that scorpion charm last fall. It sounded just like a wad of foil - under most circumstances, I would have passed over it.

Now, if I could just force myself to overlook coins I could probably increase my foil and tab count - along with the jewelry.

Another clue. I have found several coins over the years wrapped in foil, usually quarters. Some gold hits in the foil range.

ANd I still remember the guy written up in an old back issue of Tesoros MD Info. He found a huge gold cross wrapped in plastic at the beach - he almost tossed it as more plastic and foil picnic junk.
