Ace hits silver again

:garrett:I already liked the Ace with the sniper. Now I am starting to like the 9X12 too. It works great in lo trash yards, covering territory quickly. Found this 1953 (my birth year) Roosevelt this afternoon after work,at 6.5 inches, along with those wheaties and some clad I didn't show. Don't you just love how that silver comes out of the ground all shiny:clapping:

Forgive the pictures. I just got my new Canon A550 camera today. It was here when I got home. So I am trying to get the hang of using it. Cameras and metal detectors, you got to learn em!

Nice goin' there nealcat,
I'm very happy using the stock coil and boy can't they just latch on to the silver.
:clapping::cheers:

It just don't matter which coil you have on, they'll all lock on to the coins. The before mentioned dime had a little more to the story. When the ace gave the belltone and it showed as a dime I, of course, started diggin'. About three inches down, sticking out in the center of the whole was a piece of wire with a loop on the end protruding out from the edge of the hole. I thought, "man, is this what it was donging on". I pulled the wire out, it was about 10 inches, running back horizontally into the ground, then I swung the yeller feller over the hole again. "DONG DONG", there was that dime reading again and I was right over it. Kept on digging and out popped that silver dime. It read right thru the wire. Didn't mask it at all. I thought, "Now that's all right"! :detecting:

Went detecting after work this evening with the little yeller feller and hit silver again
