Ace finds junk watch, but not so fast.

Found in a corner of a well hunted park. 3 Pieces came up out of maybe a 4" hole. Seen some corruption, deemed it as junk. Few days later , cleaned it up some. And what's this. Could this be a real 66 Kennedy half ? Wrist band marked as 10K Gold filled. So that's out. (I guess) Watch itself stainless, Swiss made. Definitely not water proof, a windup. Fairly heavy, could be a real half.
Going to perform an extraction later on in afternoon. Anyone come across one of these ?

I have never seen a watch made out of a half, but have seen them made out of other coins to varying degrees. Hope it is a real 1966 Kennedy. Definitely keep us posted and include a pick of what it looks like after you take it apart even if it isn't real. :) I am thinking it is real being that they used gold-filled material, so a little bit of silver shouldn't have cost too much. lol
