Some of you guys that have a test bed or garden. Can you give me a hint of how they perform? I have liked these machines from the start, after watching YouTube videos on them. Would like to hear from people who have used them, and your opinions. Thanks

Thanks for the link. I have read it before. To me it only gives one reference to depth. I was looking for more than that. I was looking for more meat and potatoes so to speak about the 400. Would like to hear the limitations of the unit by people that have test beds or just plain hunting with it. Was hoping for something like,, i have a soda can buried at 15 inches and the 400 can get it,,or that it cannot get it,, or i dug up a horseshoe at 15 inches. Something tangible about it, anyways thanks a lot.

If the type of soil you're hunting in is different from what someone else has for a test bed or are hunting in, that will play a part in the depth it reads.
